MNS Registry Form
As the rights of the Métis are recognized in the courts and by governments across the homeland, the Métis Nation - Saskatchewan, along with the other governing member organizations, are attempting to clarify the identity of the citizens within the Métis Nation and identify those individuals who would be allowed to access any rights or privileges as part of the Métis Nation. While there has long been an informal understanding within the Métis Nation of who its citizens are, the Métis Nation - Saskatchewan is formalizing the registry of its citizenship, a process laid out in the Citizenship Act. In this effort, a Citizenship Application Form and Citizenship Card have been designed for citizens of the Métis Nation - Saskatchewan.
